Scuba diving with sharks is an exact description of dive site Shark Rodeo aka Snoopys Reef. You, part of a large group of divers, will be waiting on the sandy floor at 11 meters deep until a frozen block of chumsicle, a barrel of fish heads, is released from the boat. On a good day you will see more than 100 sharks, mainly several types of reef sharks (blacktip, whitetip, Caribbean), but also nurse sharks, tiger sharks, lemon sharks and even bull sharks are attracted by this feast. At most 5 to 10 sharks will strike the chumsicle simultaneously, while the others hover around for you to investigate and peacefully waiting their turn. A real Shark Rodeo which is also perfectly visited for snorkellers. Located offshore Walker's Cay, in the northern part of Abacos, it is often rated as one of the best sharkdives in the world.
